My Story
Since the summer of 2020, I have cultivated a love and appreciation for all that bees do! Not only are they critical to a healthy ecosystem, but they also help sustain life on our planet by pollinating the foods we eat and adding an immeasurable contribution to agriculture and crop production.
Education
I continue to learn more about these amazing creatures each year and want to share what I have come to know with others. My hope is that together we can help bees fight to overcome obstacles such as habitat loss, climate change, the use of pesticides, invasive plants, parasites, and disease. By sharing my beekeeping experience with local classrooms and through bee education outreach, I hope to inspire the next generation of eco-citizens to start their own bee journey!
Honey Production
Capped honeycomb is harvested when available. Products such as unfiltered honey and candles are sold or donated to help support bee education efforts and are also used in classroom presentations.
