I started out with one hive and now the apiary is up to three! The bee yard was placed right next to a spring fed pond which gives the bees a year round water source. It is also enclosed by a solar bear fence which helps to keep out unwanted visitors. You will see that the hives are given sugar water feeders at different times of the year. This ensures that they always have what they need to build new comb, raise brood, and store food over the winter months.
